Ade is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust in UK. She is the national instructor on many multidisciplinary obstetric emergency courses such as MMOET (Managing Obstetric emergencies and Trauma), STAE (Surgical Training For Austere Environments) for the RCOG, GIC (Generic instructor course)and ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics.
Ade is the founder and director of a charitable organisation known as AAFCA UK with the mission to improve maternal health services and reducing mothers and children dying from avoidable pregnancy related complications and childbirth. Her organisation sends out teams of doctors , midwifes and nurses from across the UK to train Nigerian medical professionals on ways to save lives. AAFCA UK has collaborated with many governmental and NGOs in many states in Nigeria to run obstetric emergency courses as well as obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound courses.
This organisation has evolved to engage in wider health strengthening collaborative efforts with individual health facilities in Nigeria. AAFCA UK works to achieve every good outcome for mother and baby. “ Life is delicate, Handle with care”
